CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
PURPOSE
Our purpose is to proclaim the Gospel to the next generation, to aid parents as they disciple their children, and to create a safe and welcoming environment for all children, where they can learn to love God and their neighbors!
NURSERY
Our nursery operates during both Sunday school and the main service, and is available for children 0-3 years of age. Check in and check out is at the the nursery counter.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Children's Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM. Placement in our children’s classes is based on what is developmentally appropriate for each child. We welcome and value parental input in determining which class best fits their child’s needs—especially when considering a child with special needs. Our goal is to create a caring, engaging environment where every child can learn and grow in their faith.

SPECIAL NEEDS
ACCOMMODATIONS
At Bethany, our desire is to provide an accessible church for all children regardless of level of ability or special needs they may have. If you are considering visiting our church and have a child with a disability, or one who has special needs, please contact our Children's Ministry Director so that we can make sure we are able to make you and your child feel as welcomed and supported as possible on your first Sunday!
BIBLE MEMORY
Our Bible memory program runs from September through May and is open to all children ages 3 through Junior Youth. Each Sunday, children may recite up to 2 memory verses and earn "Bible Bucks" to spend at 4 Bible Bucks Stores held throughout the year.
Verses may be recited to Sunday School teachers between 9:15 AM - 9:35 AM or after class before the main service.
In May, we celebrate the children's hard work with a special Bible Memory Award Ceremony during the main service, recognizing all who participated throughout the year.
VBS
Every summer, we host a week of Vacation Bible School for children from kindergarten through 8th grade. VBS evenings are packed ful with music, games, Bible memory and teaching, snacks, crafts, and more.
