Matt Zook
SENIOR PASTOR
Pastor Matt Zook is married to Becky Zook and together they have two beautiful daughters, Madison and Cheyenne, and one amazing son, Brody. As a family they love to be outdoors especially boating. The children play volleyball, softball and basketball.
Matt feels blessed to be a part of the local church and loves to see the transformation in people's lives as they experience Christ transforming power. His vision is that Bethany, called to be on mission with God, can be used to impact the world around us for the Glory of God! Col. 1:13-14
Sam Coblentz
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Pastor Sam Coblentz was born in Fredericksburg, Ohio. He graduated from Hartville Christian School, and attended Maranatha Bible School, and the University of Akron. He is married to Lori, and the father to 3 sons; Quinten, Camden, and Morgan.
He is a certified Optician working in Hartville and Sugarcreek. He served with Gospel Echoes Prison Ministry, and has enjoyed various short-term mission experiences. He was licensed as an Associate Pastor in 1996, and began serving as Youth Pastor in 2001.
Marcus Sharp
PASTOR OF CARE
Pastor Marcus Sharp, a lifetime resident of Hartville Ohio, graduated from Hartville Christian School, and Stark State College. At an early age, and numerous times since, he has enjoyed being involved and serving in various short term missions. Marcus and his wife Claudia, both attended Maranatha Bible School.

They have twin daughters, Chelsea and Courtney, as well as one daughter, Gabriel, and a son, Carson. Marcus was licensed as associate pastor in 2013. Currently he works as a framing carpenter, for his own construction business.
Jordan Briggs
YOUTH PASTOR
Youth Pastor Jordan Briggs grew up in Akron, OH. He graduated from Lake Center Christian School, and attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University before graduating from Kent State with a degree in Business Management. Jordan and his wife, Mary have been blessed with 3 children, Myla, Sage, and Beau.
Jordan is passionate about young people’s relationship with Jesus and their ability to develop their own faith in God. His heart for the Youth Group is for them to know Jesus personally and to find their identity in Him.
Lance & Kim Bezek
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY DIRECTORS
Lance and Kim Bezek have been serving in the area of Children and Family ministry for the past 15 years. They are passionate about laying the foundation of God’s Word in the hearts of children and equipping and encouraging parents to raise up kiddos who will love God, obey God, and live life on mission for Him.
Lance and Kim have been married 23 years and have five children: Emma, Joshua, Caleb, Josiah, and Noah.
Debbie Yoder
SECRETARY
A long time member of Bethany, Debbie attends church along with her husband Marv. She has served Bethany since 2007. In addition to her work with Bethany, Debbie and her husband Marv, they have two children Dan (Beth) Yoder and Ron (Kelli) Yoder. They also enjoy spending time with their four grandchildren.
Nicole Coblentz
SECRETARY
Nicole has been attending Bethany since 2011, where she met her husband Quinten Coblentz in the Bethany Youth Group. Currently she serves as part time Secretary, as well as being a member of the Women's Ministry, Communications, and Finance Teams.
She and Quinten also serve as Youth Sponsors, and have one son, Felix, whom they adopted in 2022.
